About Me
I’ve never been much of a cook. Instead, I’ve been more of an expert at eating out, ordering delivery, and take-out from restaurants. Recently, I’ve been inspired to take cooking seriously and with each culinary success, I’ve become confident to try more recipes. Now, I’ve become an adventurous cook. Although I’ve had some cuisine disappointments, it’s been a good learning experience. The more I practice, the better I’m becoming and I continue to hope for more gastronomic victories. This blog will cover my cooking experiences and the recipes that I try to prepare. UPDATE: I've been asked to share photos of the city. So, every Monday, that's what you'll see here.

Sidewalk cafes in the spring ... what could be more inviting.
Paz I hope you too enjoyed dining like that! xxxxx
Good to see you enjoying the city Paz. Is that the Deluxe on Morningside?
If you want another al fresco experience check out the boat basin on 79th. Its not gourmet fair, but its reasonably priced and the surroundings are wonderful
Hi Tanna: Very inviting indeed!
Hi Ilva: XXXXX
Hi Doug C: Welcome! Yes, it is the Deluxe. Packed inside and out on a Sunday morning. I haven't made it to the Boat Basin yet, but it's on my list of places to stop by. Thanks for the heads up!
Thanks everyone, for stopping by!
Paz
I love to sit out when I'm at the cafe! Nice...
I suspect the guy in blue is checking out the cyclist, is it not ? btw, where's your picture ? :P have a great weekend :)
Hey Paz, Al fresco dining. Something we get to do a little more often here in So Cal, and I'm sure I take it for granted at times...This might sound odd, but I never liked those dividers that section off the diners from the pedestrians. They kind of make the diners look like prisoners. Well, that's one of my silly thoughts (have I any else?) Enjoy the week.
Hi Rosa!
Hi Melting Wok: I believe you're right! My picture? LOL! ;-)
Hey there Mari: Interesting thought about the prison... er... I mean the diners versus the prisoners.
Thanks for stopping by everyone!
Paz
