I'll take a plain slice please!!!
Pepperoni for me! :)
When I read your entry and saw those pictures, all I could hear was Dean Martin singing: "When the moon hits your eye like a big pizza pie
That's amore..." And the song won't stop playing in my head...gosh, when I lived in New York, that's how I gained poundage, but eating slices here and there at all those little pizzerias. Grease? Extra cheese? Who cares? It tasted so good. And I CANNOT find it here in Los Angeles. Wah!
The Veggie one for sure! Looks so yummy, wish I could have a slice now!

Hi all: Help yourselves to the pizza. Taste even better when it comes straight from the oven. ;-)
LOL, Mari: Now you have me singing Dean Martin's song. I have a feeling I'll be humming it all day long. I'm going to look for the lyrics and post it for everyone. ;-)
Paz
P.S. Nothing beats a NYC pizza!
And you can also hum, "Memorieeeeeezzz, haunt the corners of my miiiiiiinddddd!" Great shots, Paz, thanks!
Oh, yummy. Yours look so much better than the one I had at a restaurant last night. Have you seen Peter Reinhart's American Pie: My search for the perfect pizza. The first part is sort of a travel-log tasting pizzas all over. Terrific read. When I get my kitchen back, I'll be trying some.
LOL! Hi Pat: Another tune that'll stick in my mind for some time. ;-)
Hi Tanna and welcome! No, Ihave hear ofPeter Reinhart's American Pie. It sounds interesting. I wouldn't mind traveling with him for the perfect pizza. How fun! I'll look for his book. Thanks for the heads up!
Best,
Paz
Shoot Paz, which place is that? Since we live in the same neighborhood any tips on where to find a good pie would be greatly appreciated:)
Wow--These are great
coincidentally, I just put up a 15th century pizza illustration. Truly a food with unlimited range.
Wow, what a great place.Brazilians also love Pizza. Yummy!
I had dammed fine pizza when I visited NY a few years ago.
Ah, happy memories...
Just need to see some donut photos now!
Mona! Good to see you here! About the pizza places. There aren't any really good ones in the neighb any more. There used to be Koronet. But their quaility has gone down. I'd say the Famiglia pizza -- they're okay. There's one closer to you that used to be very well priced -- $1!!! Haven't been there in ages, though. Don't know if the price is still the same or if their pizza is still decent. Gotta look into it. We should do a quest for decent pizza in the neighborhood.
Hi Chocolate Lady: I LOVE that illustration you posted on your blog!
Hi Valentina: I'd love to taste a Brazilian pie! ;-)
Hi Ghone: Glad you have some good memories. I have now placed a Blog Index on the right of this page. You can find the Krispy Kreme photo here.
Best,
Paz
