Thanks for giving a tour each week. I look forward to them. Have never been to New York. Wish we had some of that rain in Arizona or in Oklahoma where I am from originally.

I love your photos this (and every) week. I've got a Krispy Kreme only two blocks from my apartment in Chelsea - I'll email you a photo if you'd like!
Hi Ilva! LOL! That is new way to travel, isn't it. ;-)
Hi Fran, I wish Oklahoma and Arizona could get some of this rain, too. When you're ready to visit NY, there will be a lot of things to interest you, I'm sure.
Hey Meena! Glad to read that your banana cake was a hit! I'm going to check out the rasoi event now. Thanks for letting me know.

Paz: Between you and me, we certainly have enough rain to share with Oklahoma and Arizona. Too bad.
Lovely, sad photos.
hi paz, what i would do for a krispy kreme right now...happy new year to you and your loved ones and may 2006 be even ore delicious than the last...
Hi Cookiecrumb: Yes, we've had enough rain, especially in California.
Hi J, I wish I could send you a krispy kreme pronto! ;-) Thanks for the good wishes. I wish the same for you, too.
Paz
We used to have a Krispy Kreme up the road from us, but they closed a while ago--the Canadian franchisee (er??) was overly aggressive in expanding and I think many of the stores closed.
It was quite sad. When they opened up, there were huge line-ups but by the end, their parking lot was empty.

Hi Paz, at the moment Vienna looks like NYC ;-), but only as for the rain. All the beautful snow is disappearing. I always love to see your Monday potos, they are so authentic and I agree with the other commentors that they always allow a little travelling in our phantasy. These are not the usual touristic shots, but give a little feeling of what life is like where you live. Thanks for sharing ! Have a wonderful day, beijos angelika
Paz,great job! despite rains, you did manage to click these lovely pictures!
Hi Jasmine: I think that's the same thing that happened to the KK in my neighborhood -- a long line one day and closed the next.
Hi Angelika: So, it's raining in Austria, too? I sort of prefer the rain over the snow. It's easier to move around. ;-) Thanks for your very kind words about the photos. They're what a New Yorker (or this New Yorker) sees. ;-)
Hi Lera: Thank you!
Best to all,
Paz
Can't believe I missed this one!
Thanks so much for posting it.
Takes me straight back to NY.
Many happy memories!
Thanks again,
Ghone.
Hi Ghone!
Glad you have some happy memories of your trip.
Best,
Paz
