Corn on the Cob with Basil Butter

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

Last week, Stephen posted a tasty sounding recipe for corn on the cob with basil butter. It looked so easy that I became so inspired that I went out that very day to buy some corn and try it.

He also wrote about the proper way to boil corn and then provided the simple recipe to make the basil butter that goes over the corn (butter, basil, lemon zest).

The corn and basil butter was a hit with my family. So, I decided to make it again, this weekend.

Oh, yes! Delicious!

Believe it or not fresh corn is not avail. here in Italy, they think corn is for cows. I miss 10 ears for a dollar in Seattle. Sweet white corn that I BBQ on the grill in the summer.

Thanks, Angelika, I like the plates, too. ;-)

Tattum, happy birthday to your husband! I trust that you had a nice BBQ celebration with lots of delicious corn!

Hi Stephen, thanks for your wonderful recipes!

Gia, no corn? Oh, that's too bad. Although, I'm sure that you find outher eats to make up for the lack of it. Ten ears of corn for one dollar? Cool. I need to shop there. It's three, sometimes four ears of corn for one dollar for me here.

Hi Boo! Yes, go try Stephen's recipe!

Best to All,
Paz
